The indoor activity center has seen many changes the past month! Over the two full size basketball courts, the second floor which includes a walking track has been poured and is ready for Elk Citians to get their cardio on! The parking lot is also a work in progress with curbs being poured on the property.
Construction Superintendent Duff is still battling supply constraints in many different areas of this massive project. Duff says he’s had his crew installing the railing inside and doing anything else that can be done, until he receives what he needs to finish the roof. Duff expects supply constraints to continue for several more weeks.
City commissioners toured the new Activity Center after a commission meeting in July.
