Cardboard
Cardboard collection service is available for commercial businesses with justifiable volumes. Residents are welcome to bring any amount of cardboard to the four drop off locations listed under single stream recycling. All cardboard must be clean of any trash and be put into the marked and designated cardboard bins.
Electronics
Electronics can be dropped off for free by Elk City residents at our Recycling Collections Center located at the City Shop at 510 E 3rd, Elk City. All types of batteries, computers, printers, televisions, scanners, microwaves, copiers or anything that has an electric cord attached, except appliances such as washers, dryers, and refrigerators, are accepted. Hours of operation are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We urge Elk City residents to bring their TV’s to the center, they are no longer allowed in the City’s Landfill and if brought to the Landfill a charge will be applied to cover the cost of relocating the TV to the Recycling Collections Center.
