The Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force is currently accepting applications for


Located in Elk City, OK


Duties Include:


Initiate and investigate violations of criminal laws; Prepare reports of investigation; Create and maintain relationships with other agencies; Speak publicly to civic groups and schools; Work with other officers to investigate crimes throughout the 2nd Judicial District; Conduct time management; Court room testimony; Maintain property and evidence; Conduct interviews and iterrogations; Prepare affidavits pursuant to arrests, for arrest warrants; Prepare search warrant and search warrant affidavits; Execute search warrants; Maintain vehicles and equipment; Maintain work areas; Show proficient knowledge of firearms and use of firearms; Maintain and prepare Op Orders for operations; Conduct pre-paid briefings; Utilize Microsoft Word to prepare reports and other documents; utilize Microsoft Excel to generate spreadsheets related to case work; Utilize Microsoft Power Point to conduct presentations; Manage informants; Manage issued equipment.




  • Must be Cleet Certfied
  • Must have a valid Driver License
  • Must live in, or be willing to move to, the 2nd Judicial District of Oklahoma
  • Must have a good driving history
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen
  • Must be well versed and knowledgable on current criminal and civil case law
  • Must have extensive knowledge about existing illegal substances and current drug trends
  • Must have a solid understanding of search and seizure laws and the 4th Amendment
  • Must understand forfeiture laws
  • Must have knowledge of the legal system and processes
  • Must have experience and training in interviews and interrogations
  • Must have knowledge of weapons and protective equipment
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Subject to being on-call as well as 24 hour on call status
  • Must be willing and able to work after hours and weekends

Full-time Paramedic

The City of Elk City is currently seeking FT Paramedics. $18/hour + benefits. 

Requirements include:

  • National Registry EMT or OK Dept. of Health certified paramedics (both preferred),
  • OK Driver’s License,
  • ACLS/PALS, and
  • BLS-CPR.

ECPD Police Officer

Under general supervision involved, the enforcement of laws and the prevention of crimes; controls traffic flow and enforces state and local traffic regulations; issues citations; participates in and conducts a variety of criminal investigations; makes arrests; provides support and assistance to special crime prevention and law enforcement programs; and performs a variety of technical and administrative tasks in support of law enforcement services and activities.

  • Reserve officers are required to work one shift per month and attend one reserve officers' meeting per month
