NOTICE TO PUBLIC OF PROPOSED DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (DBE) PROGRAM FOR FAA FUNDING AT THE ELK CITY REGIONAL BUSINESS AIRPORT, ELK CITY, OKLAHOMA
The City of Elk City, Oklahoma has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program in accordance with regulations of the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), 49 CFR Part 26 for the Elk City Regional Business Airport. Elk City anticipates receiving federal financial assistance from the Department of Transportation, and as a condition of receiving this assistance, the City will sign an assurance that it will comply with 49 CFR Part 26.
The City’s overall goal for FY 2017-2018 is the following: a 2-year goal of 6.3% of the federal financial assistance. This goal includes one project in FY 2017 that involves the overlay and widening of the parallel taxiway and the installation of new taxiway lighting.
The proposed DBE Program is available for public inspection and comment at the office of the City Treasurer/Grant Administrator, 320 W 3rd Street, Elk City, OK 73644. The City will accept comments on the goals for 45 days from the date of this notice. Comments can be sent to Elesia Church, City Treasurer/Grant Administrator. A teleconference will be held on March 24, 2017 beginning at 11:00 am and ending at 12:00 pm Central Time for public comment on the availability of opportunities for DBE firms.
