Water Department

This department encompasses all avenues of the water service coming to and leaving from residents houses.

Chuck Haden, Water Superintendent, and his crew install new water and sewer lines as needed, maintain existing lines, and monthly read over 4,500 water meters.

Working in the Water Department Office located in City Hall are Charlotte, Erin and Hellen. Charlotte handles dispatching of City Crews to connect and disconnect water service, process new service hook-ups, and works with delinquent accounts. Erin processes the meter readings on the computer, prints and mails water bills monthly. Erin and Hellen receive payments as customers come in to pay their water bill.
