Fire & Rescue Units
The Fire & Rescue Truck is fully equipped. Equipment on the truck includes: Backboards, crib blocks, pull out tool tray, wired 200' cord reel connected to a 6,000 watt generator, hydraulic spreaders and port , 42 ton air bags, cardiac equipment, defibrillator, and resuscitators. There are 1500-watt lights on the front of the truck and two 500-watt removable telescoping lights on back.
The "Jaws of Life" is located on the rear of the truck.
Rescue 1 - 1999 Ford F450, 4-wheel drive and is used throughout the City and Area to assist those in need.
Engine 1 - 2000 Pierce Contender with a 1250gpm Waterous Pump
Engine 2 - 1992 E-One with a 1250gpm Hayle Pump
Engine 3 - 1982 Boardman with a 1000gpm Waterous Pump
Ladder 1 - 1990 Boardman with a 1250gpm Waterous Pump and a 55' Apache ladder with 1000gpm nozzel
Tanker 1 - 1995 F7500 Ford Truck with a Waterous Pump (1000 gal water)
Tanker 2 - 1979 F600 Ford Truck with a HP-100 Pump (600 gal water)
Tanker 3 - 1967 5-ton Military Truck with a HP-200 Pump (1800 gal water)
Brush Pumper 1 - 1998 Dodge 3600 with a HP-100 Pump (300 gal water)
Brush Pumper 2 - 1991 Dodge 3/4 ton with 250 gal water Small Pump
County Truck - 2008 Freightliner Blanchat Bed with 1500 gal water tank and compressed air foam system (this vehicle is currently being built and should be in service around mid July 2008)
Water Dog - 1993 Freightliner Truck with 6000 gal water tank
Unit 85 - 1985 Chevy 3/4 Ton Pickup with Cascade System and 700' of above ground main hose
Unit 1 - 2005 F250 Ford Pickup 4x4 4-door used by Fire Chief
Unit 2 - 2004 F250 Ford Pickup 4x4 4-door used by Assistant Fire Chief
Medic 1 - 2008 F-350 Ford with Fraizer Box and Ambulance Package
Medic 2 - 2005 F-350 Ford with Fraizer Box and Ambulance Package
Medic 3 - 2003 F-350 Ford with Fraizer Box and Ambulance Package
Medic 4 - 2002 F-350 Ford with Fraizer Box and Ambulance Package
Medic Unit - 2006 F-150 Ford Pickup 4x4 4-door used by Paramedics to respond to any emergency
